Excellent location to town centre, plenty of pub's and bar's close by India restaurant on 1 side and Rio steak restaurant on the other
Went for two nights , very functional, clean and tidy. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Only criticism is there was one hard backed plastic seat to sit on, maybe needs a small sofa or softer chair to relax on, if I go on the bed I go to sleep!! Overall was handy for pubs and shopping centre and perfect place to stay
Its fine clean tidy. Location great. Little noise ne t to main drag and road. But value for money yes. Bathrooms need upgrade

The room was a great size. A couple of things to improve, two chairs to sit on, no toilet brush, in the shower the soap dispenser should be at the opposite end of the shower. Room 231
Nothing fancy, but it's a bed for the night, friendly staff on reception and it's close to lots of nice pubs / bars / restaurants..
Room clean and in good order, to the usual standard. Efficient check in/out. There's a bar/club adjacent to the side I was staying on which had loud music but the windows did a good job of blocking out much of the sound. Good location, it seems. Was a last minute booking on the weekend of great north run, so obviously the price was eye watering and not representative of usual price.
Being totally jet lagged from Alberta Canada, staying here was a TREAT, NICKi the night cleaner made sure everything smelt of apples wonderful smell everything smelt fresh ,,m and the night staff were so friendly to me and probably what theheck she on !!!!Really just jet lagged but feel totally discombobulated !!! BUT the NIGHt STAFF HERE WELL DONE
